Growing up so fast.

Maybe its because I'm their Mom...but they all of a sudden look really big to me.

A weekend at Storyland

Our friend invited us to celebrate her birthday at Storyland! We all drove up on saturday afternoon, got there at 2 and recieved a pass for the next day. We all shared a hotel room that's 3 adults 5 kids. We had a birthday breakfast and the headed back to Storyland for more fun. Georgia and Amelie loved every minute of it, but mostly they loved meeting a "real princess".

Busy, Fun, Family, Friends..Our Labor Day Weekend

The long weekend started with a (yummy) Lobster Dinner hosted by Michelle and her mother-in-law Carol. Saturday we sent the afternoon biking around Portland. We went to Deering Park where the girls met some other girls and they formed a clubhouse and shared snacks. Then we headed into town by Back Bay, where we happened upon a train. By this time we were ready for some lunch! We picked up sandwiches and ate by the water. By the time we got home, I had just enough time to shower and pack up for our big night at Oxford Speedway. Matthew (#84) invited us all to the Championship night, the girls got to go down to the track and see the car and get an autograph! Uncle Matty had a good start but then had a run in with another car causing some damage to his car. It was all very exciting!! The girls had a blast...so much fun that Amélie fell asleep at about lap 9 in the final race. Sunday, needless to say we were a little tired. So we spent the morning catching up on house work then Keith enjoyed some time to himself while the girls and I played in the backyard with the neighbors. I had some time to myself on Monday...SHOPPING. While I was shopping Keith took the girls on another bike ride to the Eastern Prom for a picnic. Then we all headed to Deering Park again. Keith and the girls ran around the park while I played a few games of volleyball (I was a little rusty...but had a great time). After dinner we had just enough energy to make it up the stairs and fall into bed. Great weather, great family, great friends...A great Labor Day Weekend.
